WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAU) — Marathon County deputies are on the lookout for an escaped inmate.
Deputies say 31-year-old Matthew Hornung left the jail to head to a meeting, but shortly after he left the jail he cut off his GPS tracker and fled. Deputies are now considering him AWOL. Hornung does have a residence in the Town of Marathon on County Highway N, and may have headed there.
