ROTHSCHILD, WI (WSAU) — Globe University will be shutting down operations in Wisconsin, including their Wausau area location.
The reason behind the closure is a funding issue caused by a lawsuit against Globe that led to the U.S. U.S. Department of Education denying Globe participation in financial aid programs. That was confirmed by Cassandra Hartman of Globe University.
Students at Globe University will be able to continue their education through Broadview University online, if they choose to. Broadview is located in Utah. Globe will also be shutting down their campuses in South Dakota.
The has five locations in Wisconsin, including Wausau, Eau Claire, Appleton, Onalaska, and Madison.
