WAUSAU, Wis (WSAU-WAOW) A coach bus caught fire in Wausau early this morning. It happened around 1:15 a.m. on Highway 51 at the Highway 29 overpass.
When first responders arrived the bus was pulled over onto the shoulder of the highway and the driver was outside. The bus was not carrying passengers at the time and there were no injuries.
The SAFER fire department extinguished the fire.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
