Meetings at the Stevens Point Public School District will have a different look now. The school as adopted a paperless meeting system. The service “BoardDocs” will be providing all of the meeting information instead of handing out large packets of information.
Director of Communications for the school district, Sarah O’Donnell, says this was done to try and save money.
“Districts are always looking at ways to save money and reducing the amount of paper that’s coming out for meetings is certainly one of the ways to do that,” said O’Donnell. “A lot of our meetings are already paperless so really what we were looking at was an opportunity to kind of streamline that process.”
The school district will be using the new service for the first time at their upcoming committee meetings.
