TOWN OF HANSEN, WI (WSAU) Six people are without a home after a fire in the Town of Hansen.
Dire crews responded last night to a fire at a building used as an auto body repair shop and a residential home.
The Vesper Fire Department responded around 9:30pm last night to the fire on Grant Road. Upon arrival, crews found the building with heavy smoke and fully engulfed by fire..
The blaze resulted in extensive damage to the structure and its contents. There were no injuries. The Vesper Fire Department was assisted by crews from Arpin, Richfield, and Rudolph.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
Property owners Greg Plawman and Sarah Schmoll and their four children are being assisted by the Red Cross.
