TOWN of MAINE, WI (WSAU-WAOW) — Local crews responded to an apparent fire at the Maine Fire Department building Monday afternoon, according to fire officials.
The fire chief tells WAOW-TV it started in the public works portion of the building, the engine of a tractor starting fire. The smoke spread to the fire department. Officials say no one was hurt and crews aren’t sure the extent of damages.
The Wausau Fire Department along with the Hamburg Fire Department responded to the scene.
A cause has not yet been determined.
