NELSONVILLE, Wis. (WSAU) — Fire destroyed a barn north of Nelsonville Wednesday night in the Portage County Town of New Hope.
The barn on Shaw Drive off of Highway ZZ was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived at 9:53 p.m. Iola, Amherst, Rosholt, and Stockton fire departments were all battling the blaze.
There were no animals in the barn, and nobody was injured.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
