After a close win against Pittsburgh on Friday, the UW Men’s Basketball team will have to overcome No. 2 seed Xavier Sunday night to move on from the Round of 32.
Wisconsin looks to join Indiana and represent the Big Ten Conference in the Sweet Sixteen. They’ll aim to work at a better offensive pace than they showed Friday night. The Badgers only scored 16 points in the first half of the Pittsburgh game. Bronson Koenig and Nigel Hayes shot for a combined 4-of-25 from the field.
Xavier cruised to a win over 15-seed Weber State on Friday 71-53. The Musketeers knocked off another Wisconsin team, Marquette, in the Big East tournament earlier this month.
The game tips off from St. Louis at 7:40pm. You’ll find coverage on your home for Badgers Basketball, WSAU.
