FARGO, N.D. (WSAU) — Stratford wrestler Macy Kilty took first place on Saturday at the USA Wrestling Junior Nationals in Fargo, North Dakota. Kilty, wrestling at 108 pounds, won the first-place match by defeating Alisha Howk of Missouri by decision.
Another Wisconsin wrestler, Denmark High School graduate Jayden Laurent of Oconto Falls, took first place at 143 pounds. Hannah Ramos of Kenosha finished in first place at 154.
Autumn Hohn from Clintonville took second in the 95-pound division. Abigail Nelson, also from Wisconsin, took second wrestling at 88 pounds. Natalie Kemp took second at 172. At 132 pounds, Mosinee’s Kiana Pugh finished in fifth place, while Josie Bartishofski finished 8th in the 101-pound division.
Overall, the USA Wrestling Cadet Nationals team from Wisconsin finished in second place with a team score of 49. A team from California took first place with a combined score of 61.
