TORONTO, ON (WSAU) — The sixth-seeded Milwaukee Bucks took game 1 of their first-round playoff matchup against the third-seeded Toronto Raptors Saturday, 97-83.
Giannis Antetokounmpo led all scorers with 28 points. He also snagged 8 boards and had 3 assists. Malcolm Brogdon would add on 16 points in his first career playoff game. Greg Monroe had a double-double off the bench in what was his first playoff game as well, scoring 14 points and grabbing 15 rebounds.
Raptors star DeMar DeRozan would lead the way for Toronto scoring 27 points. Serge Ibaka also had 19 points and 14 rebounds.
Game two of this series is coming up on Tuesday and will also be played in Toronto.
