RIB MOUNTAIN, WI (WSAU-WAOW) — County Road NN at Thornapple Road is still closed as of Sunday afternoon. A sinkhole has caused the road to be closed for more than a week now.
According to the sheriff’s department, water had washed out the concrete on the road. A detour is open from County Road N to County Road O.
No updates have been provided as to when the road may reopen. Another sinkhole was reported in Wausau last week on River Drive.
