WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — Members of the Wausau community will soon get to share their feelings on what they would like to see in the next Wausau Schools superintendent. A survey is going to be emailed out and posted to the Wausau School District website on Friday.
School Board President Lance Trollop on what type of questions people can expect to see on this survey.
“It has questions such as (how important is) local experience or prior superintendent experience?” he said. “Anything that would be related to what they think is most important for a superintendent.”
Trollop also says it’s hard to say just how heavily the results of the survey will influence the board’s decision.
“It’s a board of nine people. But, we wouldn’t be going through the process if we didn’t think it was important. We do think it’s important and its a way for us to reach a lot of people with one survey,” Trollop said.
The survey will be open until October 1st.
The school board also sent out their request for proposals for hiring agencies to aid them with the search.
