STEVENS POINT, Wi (WSAU) The UWSP mens hockey team rallied from a 2-0 deficit to forge a 2-2 tie with UW-Superior at KB Willet Arena.
Colin Raver scored a power play goal in the 2nd period and Tanner Karty got the equalizer with under two minutes to play in the game after the Pointers pulled their goaltender.
Max Milosek had 19 saves.
The Pointers, now 7-3-2, will host Concordia Wi on Friday night .It’s the annual Teddy Bear Toss. All bears donated will be given to Operation Bootstrap.
The UWSP mens basketball team knocked off UW-Superior 70-57 on Saturday night in Superior.
Junior Nate Dodge scored 17 of his game high 27 points in the first half. Dodge was 7-11 from 3 pt. range.
MJ Delmore added 13 points .
The Pointers, now 2-2, hit the road for three straight games starting Friday night at Hope College in Holland Michigan.
