WAUSAU, WI (WSAU-WAOW) — A Wausau man has been arrested for drunken driving after stopping at a fast food drive-thru early Sunday morning.
32-year-old Nathan Loose has been charged with operating while intoxicated after stopping at the Hardee’s on Stewart Avenue in Wausau. A worker at the restaurant called police and said that Loose was intoxicated while placing his order and was acting belligerent.
Loose told an officer that he had been drinking “a little bit,” according to the police report. A preliminary breath test showed Loose’s blood-alcohol-level at .185, more than twice the legal limit to drive.
This was Loose’s first OWI charge.
