MELLEN, WI (WSAU-WAOW) The Ashland County Sheriff’s Department is looking for a missing woman from the UP.
54-year-old Jody Lynn Newberry was last seen attending the Mellen Jam music festival around noon on Saturday. The festival is held on Gilgen Road, just north of Mellen.
She’s 5-foot-3, 115 pounds, and has brown hair and brown eyes. When last seen she was wearing a hooded sweatshirt and long pants, and also has a skin tag on her nose and has several missing teeth.
She has children in Central Wisconsin, and may be trying to get to the area.
