MILWAUKEE, WI (MetroSource-WSAU) — The Cubs reeled off four runs in the fourth inning and went on to beat the Brewers 6-4 in Milwaukee.
Daniel Murphy homered and Ben Zobrist had an RBI double in the big inning. Kyle Schwarber went deep in the sixth. Jose Quintana pitched into the seventh for the win as the Cubs extended their NL Central lead to four games.
Jonathan Schoop drove in a pair of runs and Curtis Granderson hit a two-run homer for Milwaukee. Jhoulys Chacin took the loss for the Crew.
The Brewers have today off…the San Francisco Giants come to Milwaukee starting on Friday night.
