STEVENS POINT, WI (WSAU) — A Stevens Point man will spend over 7 years in prison for illegally possessing a firearm as a convicted felon.
U.S. District Judge William M. Conley sentenced 55-year-old Brian Louis to 92 months behind bars and another 3 years of supervised release on the charges Tuesday. Louis pled guilty to the charges in August.
Back in April, he was arrested by Stevens Point Police for possessing two stolen guns including a rifle and shotgun.
According to the release Louis has prior felony convictions on drug-related charges.
