WISCONSIN RAPIDS, WI (WSAU) — The human resources committee has approved a wage increase for non-union employees of the city.
In their Friday afternoon meeting, the city of Wisconsin Rapids Human Resources Committee approved a wage increase for 2019 of non-union employees of the city.
Committee chair and alderperson of district 5 Steve Koth told WSAU that the wage increase will be an increase of 2.5%
The committee also discussed in closed session ongoing negotiations between the city and the International Association of Firefighters Local 425, WRPPA, and AFSCME Local 1075. But no action was taken regarding those labor agreements in open session.
The wage increase will go into effect for non-union employees for their first paycheck of 2019.
