MARSHFIELD, WI (WSAU) — Two people wanted on outstanding warrants were arrested after they led Marshfield Police on a two-county chase Monday afternoon.
Police say they spotted a car driven by Christopher Gaffney and Josie Lutz of Marshfield and attempted to initiate a traffic stop. The vehicle speed off, and officers followed.
The chase crossed into Clark County before officers were able to stop the vehicle. Officers say they also found a large amount of drugs including more than 33 grams of meth and drug paraphernalia in the vehicle.
Requested charges against both include possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver along with cocaine, marijuana, and meth possession.
As the driver in the chase, Gaffney also faces charges of fleeing an officer.
