PARK FALLS, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – Flambeau River Papers is laying off employees according to the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development.
In a news release, the company anticipates laying off 65 employees within the next 60 days. A receiver is expected to be appointed for the assets and the goal is to keep the business operating in the future.
If a receiver’s sale is not successful, Flambeau River Papers says it will close it’s Park Falls mill.
