AURORA, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – A two-year-old girl is dead in a farming accident in Taylor County. Her 12-year-old brother accidentally ran her over while operating a skid loader, according to a press release from the sheriff’s department.
It happened in the Town of Aurora at a farm on Polly Lane around 8:30pm Thursday.
The boy was feeding hay with the bucket three to four feet off the ground, which limited his vision. They say he saw a flash of movement and thought it was the family dog.
They say the girl was not expected to be in the area at the time. She was rushed to Our Lady of Victory Hospital by died from her injuries before arriving.
No names have been released.
