RHINELANDER, WI (WSAU-WAOW) — A boat has been destroyed after a fire on Monday.
WAOW-TV is reporting that according to fire officials from The Pine Lake Fire & Rescue, the boat was destroyed on Lake George near Rhinelander. Officials also say three people were able to safely get off the boat and onto the dock.
Crews then took the boat out of the water to prevent any leaks or debris from getting into the lake. There’s no word on what caused the fire to break out on the boat at this time.
The incident is currently under investigation.
