The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel asked that question in a story on Wednesday and before you scoff, think about some of the things that have changed. Lambeau Field used to be a House of Horrors for visiting teams. Now there are some folks who see the enthusiasm at the stadium waning a bit compared to other places. Some say its having two ticket packages and the Milwaukee fans are not holding up their end of the bargain. One Milwaukee fan is David Price who is British and owns some pubs in Milwaukee. He's a big soccer fan and suggests the Lambeau Field Game Day experience is like nothing he;s ever encountered…even if the older fans won't sing the songs he tries to start. Some say the problem is the aging of the fan base and the older folks don't get as rowdy as they once did. One fan says the renovation of the stadium killed some of the noise by altering the acoustics and that the sound system is sub-standard and hard to understand. She also suggested they could do more on the Jumbotron to get fans involved. There is also the fact that the team has missed ther playoffs the past two years and with the price of tickets, many folks are opting out and will watch the games on television. That makes more tickets available for the opposing teams fans. I havent been to a game as a fan for a few years but I know alot of folks who read this have. What do you think? Do the Packers have the home field advantage they once did and if not what do they have to do to bring it back?
That being said, what do you think of the foghorn and strobe lights that the team has employed so far this season? Do we need any of that stuff or should the game on the field be enough?
The Brewers have moved into a tie with the Cubs for the 2nd wild card spot after winning again last night. Good to have Moose back with 2 homers. They will need his left handed bat in the lineup to partially make up for the loss of Yelich. By the way, Yelich did have enough at bats to qualify for batting awards this year. He has also set some team records. This from reporter Adam McCalvey
Yelich has enough PAs to finish 2019 as a qualified hitter. That means he set these single-season Brewers records:
172 wRC+ (tops 2011 Braun’s 171) .441 wOBA (1987 Molitor, .433) 1.100 OPS (2009 Fielder, 1.014) .671 SLG (2007 Fielder, .618) 11.11 AB/HR (2007 Fielder, 11.46)
Also, reports are that Yelich will require no surgery…out six weeks….could you see a return for the World Series????
Todd Rosiak reports that….
Ryan Braun was wearing Christian Yelich's jersey under his own jersey tonight.
“Just for good luck,” he said. “They're about the same size. It felt a little different, but I was just trying to bring the good vibes.”

Some good news for fans of the Allman Bros, CCR & Elvis
The Allman Brothers are one of several veteran acts releasing reissues this year. Fillmore West '71 was recorded the same year as the Allmans' classic At Fillmore East, and is being released on a four-disc set. Creedence Clearwater Revival has released Live At Woodstock, which includes the entire CCR set that John Fogerty didn't want included on the original Woodstock album. Elvis Live 1969 marks the 50th anniversary of Elvis Presley's comeback year and includes two new sets, one recorded live in las Vegas and one recorded in the studio.
This is the anniversary of The Monkees hitting our TV screens in 1966. A combination of the Marx Brothers and the Beatles…how could it miss? They won an Emmy for Outstanding Comedy Series in 1967
Here is that first episode…they did get better.
Speaking of the Beatles this find certainly changes the thinking about Beatle history…
London) — A newly discovered audio tape from 1969 shows the Beatles were planning a follow-up to Abbey Road. The tape was recorded at Apple Records two weeks before the release of their iconic final album, and features a conversation between John Lennon, Paul McCartney and George Harrison about who should write songs for the next album. On the tape, Lennon proposes they contribute four songs apiece and give two songs to Ringo. Beatles historian Mark Lewisohn says the tape revises the band's history, and shows they did not plan Abbey Road to be their last album, and that Lennon did not want to break up the band. A 50th anniversary reissue of Abbey Road will be released September 27th, featuring unreleased outtakes and demos.

Know what my kindergartner learned yesterday? How to hide in his classroom bathroom and be quiet if a shooter enters his school.
