ROTHSCHILD, WI (WSAU) — A Rhinelander man who works at a Marathon County jewelry store was arrested on Thursday for child pornography charges.
Kyle Wickersham, 32, was arrested while working at the Rothschild Wickersham Jewelry on Thursday by Wisconsin Department of Justice agents. According to the criminal complaint when Wickersham was arrested he went without resistance after turning over his cell phone.
The complaint also says that he used the app KIK to exchange several pictures and videos of child pornography with another user.
Wickersham was in court on Friday for his initial appearance on 10 counts of possessing child pornography. All 10 charges come with a maximum sentence of $100,000 or 25 years in prison, and mandatory registration as a sex offender.
Wickersham is being held on a $25,000 cash bond, and may not have access to devices that can access the internet. He will return to court on October 14th for a pre-trial conference.
