TOWN OF HULL, WI (WSAU) — Names of those involved in a deadly crash in the Portage County Town of Hull have been released.
Officials say 39-year-old Joel Kiedrowski of Stockton was heading westbound on Highway 10 when he attempted to pass a Toyota Rav-4 but instead sideswiped it before crossing the center turn lane and heading into oncoming traffic. A passenger in the Rav-4, identified as 50-year-old Kathleen Pedersen, suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Kiedrowski’s vehicle then struck a pickup truck driven by 63-year-old Thomas Swanson head-on. Swanson suffered serious injuries in the incident.
Kiedrowski was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash was reported just before 5 PM Saturday near the intersection of Highway 10 and Algoma Street. No further information has been released.
