MERRILL, WI (WSAU) — A unique auction is being held in Merrill until the end of October.
According to a Facebook post from the Merrill Police Department, they are hosting a sealed bid auction. The auction is on the abandoned property that the department has found, including bikes, tires, and miscellaneous smaller property.
Residents can come to the police department and look at the items from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Those who would like to place a sealed bid need to fill out a bidder form at the department. Bikes are in lots and bidders will need to place a bid on an entire lot.
Bidding for the items closes on October 30th when the building closes at 4:00 p.m. WInners of the items will be notified and winners have until November 6th to pay for and pick up the items.
