MADISON, WI (WSAU) — The Wisconsin womens soccer team clinced the Big Ten title with a 3-1 at Northwestern on Sunday afternoon. Its the first outright season crown for the program.
Dani Rhodes, Claire Shea & Jenna Kiraly had the goals. It was the first win vs the Wildcats since 2014.
Wisconsin will host Ohio State to close out the regular season on Wednesday at McClimon Soccer Complex.
The Wisconsin volleyball team stayed unbeaten in the Big Ten with a 3-1 win over Michigan on Sunday in Ann Arbor.
Dana Rettke returned from injury with 15 kills and 10 blocks.Tiffany Clark had 16 saves and the Badgers dominated at the net with 16 blocks.
Wisconsin, now 14-4, 10-0 in Big Ten, will host Maryland on Wednesday night.
The Wisconsin womens hockey team stayed unbeaten witn a 4-1 win over Bemidji State on Sunday afternoon at LaBahn Arena.
Abby Roque, Daryl Watts, Sophie Shirley & Caitlin Schneider had the Badger goals. Shirley has tallied a point in every game this season and has scored in five straight.
#1 ranked Wisconsin, now 10-0, will play at #2 Minnesota on Saturday & Sunday.
