WAUSAU, Wi (WAOW TV-WSAU) The Hmong Wausau Festival scheduled for July has been cancelled by the festival board.
The Hmong American Center released a statement saying they believed “this was the best decision to help prevent the sprad of Covid-19.”
This would have been the 4th anniversary of the event which included sports, dance competitions and food vendors.
Yee Leng Xiong, director of the Hmong American Center, said the event brings in about 53% of the Center’s annual income.
