WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) Wausau on Water, the popular restaurant and gaming arcade known as ‘WOW’, will reopen on Tuesday, June 30 after an employee tested positive for COVID-19 last week.
The employee worked while they were asymptomatic. WOW has been closed since then for deep cleaning.
WOW said in a Facebook post that all employees and customers will be required to wear face coverings except when they are eating and drinking. There will also be new social distancing inside the business.
The Marathon County Department of Health has side the chances of additional transmission from WOW was low. They do not recommend testing for people who were there between June 12 and 14th unless they have symptoms.
