MERRILL, WI (WSAU) — Sheriff’s officials in Lincoln County reported a rash of thefts last week, including two vacation homes.
A Muskego, WI man says his seasonal home was burglarized in the Town of Bradley. Several items including firearms, a gun safe, laptop, toolbox, and flat-screen TV were reported missing.
Additionally, a vacation home in the Town of Rock Falls owned by a Pound man was also hit by thieves. The owner reported a portable AC unit, TV, and chainsaw went missing along.
Officers didn’t specify what date the home burglaries took place, but they weren’t the only incidents reported according to the weekly crime log.
A 64-year-old Waukesha man had his camper stolen from land he owns in the Town of Birch. The man said the unit, a 36′ Hornet bumper pull style, was taken off the land during overnight hours on July 8th.
Six golf carts were also stolen from the Inshalla Golf Course late Thursday night or Friday morning. The carts were parked outside the pro shop.

Officers currently have no evidence to show that the incidents are related. No suspects have been named.
