WASHINGTON (Reuters) – President Donald Trump favors immediate action on higher unemployment benefits and eviction aid while policymakers debate a broader coronavirus aid bill, White House adviser Peter Navarro said.
Navarro said in an interview with Fox News that policymakers should move a more limited package in the next few days, even as Democrats in Congress and the Trump administration continue to negotiate over a bigger bill.
