ST CROIX FALLS, WI (Wisconsin Radio Network) – St. Croix Falls police say they shot and killed a man at a motel who was armed with a knife.
Police were called to the Dalles House Motel around 9:45pm on Saturday by a woman who said she was in trouble. When officers arrived, a man with a knife left the hotel room and got into a confrontation with police. Officers say the man was ordered to drop the knife, but refused. He was shot after he charged at them.
A woman with multiple stab wounds was found inside the hotel room. She was airlifted to a hospital for treatment, and her condition is not known.
