WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The U.S. Justice Department on Thursday announced the dismantling of cyber-enabled financing campaigns involving the military wing of Hamas, al Qaeda and Islamic State.
“These actions represent the government’s largest-ever seizure of cryptocurrency in the terrorism context,” the department said in a statement.
