DARIEN, WI (WSAU) Vice President Mike Pence will be campaigning on Wednesday in Wisconsin – the day his VP rival Kamala Harris gives her convention speech.
Pence is scheduled to campaign in Walworth County, after flying to the airport in Janesville.
Pence will speak on trade and the economy in Darien. A campaign statement says the speech will focus on “President Donald Trump’s strong record of putting the American worker first and implementing America First trade priorities.”
The Trump campaign is breaking with tradition by holding events during the other party’s convention week. President Trump held a rally in Oshkosh on Monday, opening night of the Democratic National Convention.
Pence and Harris are scheduled to debate on October 7.
