MADISON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Thursday’s coronavirus numbers in Wisconsin came out close to seven-day averages.
The state Department of Health Services reported 740 new confirmed cases on Thursday, compared to a seven-day average of 718. Another 9,131 people tested negative. The 7.5% positive rate compares to a seven-day average of 8%.
DHS reported seven new deaths on Thursday, in line with the seven-day average.
Since the pandemic began, there have been 68,233 cases of coronavirus, 1,093,294 negative tests and 1,067 deaths.
Over 59,000 are said to have recovered from the virus.
