The Brown County Fair was one of the few fairs that went on as planned this Summer. The Saturday of the fair is always the livestock and dairy auction, but this year it was a little different. This year’s auction included 112 kids from Brown County and surrounding counties. Represented this year was Brown, Calumet, Kewaunee, Manitowoc, Oconto, and Outagamie Counties.
In order to make things as safe as possible and still go on with the auction, it was an in-person and online auction. That way if people didn’t feel comfortable being at the event, but they still wanted to support the kids and buy an animal, they could do it from their home. Overall, the auction was a great success!

These auctions are important because the money raised helps these kids with their future. A lot of kids use that money for college or to buy animals for the next fair. To see how the rest of the exhibitors did in the auction, click here.
