Just to be safe, Aldi recalled peaches from Wawona Packing Company because of a possible salmonella contamination. They’ve already taken the peaches out of their stores in a number of states, including Wisconsin.
The CDC and FDA are warning people about the peaches from Aldi as they continue to investigate the outbreak that could be linked to the fruit. In a press release, the store said that if you happen to have any of the possibly contaminated peaches, throw them out or bring them back for a full refund.
