GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-METROSOURCE) — Kanye West is filing a lawsuit in Brown County Court, demanding state elections officials place him on Wisconsin’s presidential ballot.
The state Elections Commission claims West missed the deadline for filing nomination signatures earlier this month – by anywhere from a few seconds to a few minutes.
West announced his intent to run in July, but Democrats claim Republicans are pushing his candidacy in swing states to pull votes away from Joe Biden.
