MADISON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Both the number of new positive COVID-19 cases and the number of tests completed are down Monday, keeping in line with previous trends.
There are 2,155 new cases of coronavirus being reported Monday by Wisconsin DHS, down from 2,791 reported on Sunday.
Monday’s positivity rate was 27.2% after 7,906 test results were processed.
The DHS also reports 19 new COVID-19 related deaths. The total amount of deaths in Wisconsin is now at 3,738.
Since the start of the pandemic, there have been more than 2.6 million people tested, 414,332 positive cases, and more than 2.2 million negative results.
The DHS considers 352,510 patients to be recovered from COVID-19 and says 58,009 COVID-19 cases are active.
