Congratulations to Natasha Paris, she was chosen as the recipient of the Wisconsin Farm Bureau’s Young Farmer and Agriculturist Excellence in Agriculture Award during WFB’s 101st Annual Meeting earlier this month. Paris has been a member of the WFB since 2015 and serves as the Young Farmer and Agriculturists chair, as well as the VP of the Green Lake County Farm Bureau. She’s an agri-science teacher and FFA advisor at Ripon High School, and also owns ParKelm Farm with her husband, Jordan.
The contest shines a spotlight on those who have a positive impact on agriculture in Wisconsin and Paris does that every day. The Excellence in Agriculture Award is given to a Farm Bureau member between the ages of 18 and 35 who plays a big role in ag, but receives most of their income from an off-the-farm agriculture career.
Paris will now compete at the American Farm Bureau Federation’s Annual Convention this January.
