MADISON, WI (METRO) — Wisconsin’s governor wants lawmakers to come back to Madison and approve his coronavirus plan by the end of the year.
Governor Tony Evers unveiled the $100,000 proposal yesterday.
Among its highlights are making sure vaccines in the state are covered through SeniorCare and BadgerCare, as well as shifting state employees around to help with the state’s unemployment backlog, and offering loans to local utilities in Wisconsin.
Republican Assembly Speaker Robin Vos says the governor’s proposal is another take-it or leave-it offer.
