WAUSAU, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The Wisconsin State Patrol says a trooper and another person helped bring a fifteen year old girl to safety on Friday afternoon from a bridge overpass near Wausau.
Authorities said in a social media post that a trooper who was driving over the McCleary Bridge near Wausau noticed a girl holding onto the railing of the bridge by one arm.
The girl was dangling just above the Big Rib River which sits below the bridge.
