As I often say on air, there has never been a better time to get engaged and involved in our government at the local level. Our local communities are where we can best influence others and most affect change. The federal government and its inhabitants will likely always remain fully submerged in the swamp, but that doesn’t mean that the place in which we live, work and play has to be destroyed and dismantled by the left.
SHOW UP
You can preserve our conservative principles and values by getting involved. Start regularly attending your local government’s meetings and getting to know the process in which these government bodies are run and how these individuals are representing the citizens of Central Wisconsin. By staying ever vigilant and holding our elected officials accountable for their actions, you can make a difference. Look up your local elected officials and your local boards to determine their calendar of meetings. Most board and committee meetings are regularly scheduled and occur on the same day(s) of the week each month. Per Wisconsin Open Records Laws, all agendas for those meetings must be posted at least 24 hours prior to the meeting.
VOLUNTEER
Join the efforts of like-minded organizations (i.e. Get Involved Wisconsin) and sign up to volunteer to help your fellow common sense conservatives get elected to represent our principles and values. Encourage others who are like-minded to get informed, engaged and involved. Taking back our government is difficult work. We need passionate and dedicated patriots to counter the left’s army of paid activists.
HELP ELECT LOCAL CONSERVATIVES
Make 2021 the year that you help to take back our local government. Now, more than ever, we must stay engaged and involved. We must make our voices heard and hold our elected officials accountable.
