(Reuters) – Walgreens Boots Alliance said on Tuesday that outgoing Starbucks Chief Operating Officer Roz Brewer has been appointed as the company’s chief executive officer.
She will take office from March 15 and succeeds Stefano Pessina who will transition to the role of executive chairman of the Walgreens board, the drugstore chain said in a statement.
