The foodservice industry has been struggling for almost a year now due to closings and uncertainty. The National Restaurant Association said that 1 in 6 restaurants have already closed their doors for good. Restaurants are one of the largest drivers of the beef industry and Certified Angus Beef (CAB) wanted to help out where they can.
They decided to start the #RestaurantChallenge. The concept is very simple, anytime you go out to eat or get a to-go order, take a picture of it and use the hashtag on Facebook or Instagram for your chance to win a $100 gift card. CAB will be giving away gift cards weekly through April 11th. The goal is to support restaurants in order to keep them in business.
