The annual Dairy Calf and Heifer conference will be held in person this spring at the Red Lion Hotel Paper Valley in Appleton on April 6th to the 8th. The goal of the conference is to bring heifer raisers together for networking and to give them a chance to talk with others that are in same field as them about issues within the industry.
The morning the conference kicks off there’ll be a tour of Shiloh Dairy in Brillion, with a seminar on respiratory infection to follow in the afternoon. Other topics discussed during breakout sessions at the conference include vaccinating calves and heifers, a deep dive into dairy data, serum total protein, and more.
