MADISON, WI (WSAU) — Wisconsin’s Department of Health Services says that more than 10% of residents have now been vaccinated against COVID-19 thanks to an influx of the single-shot Johnson and Johnson vaccine.
Since the vaccine rollout began more than 1.7 million doses have been administered, most of those being either the Moderna or Pfizer shots which require a booster within a few weeks.
All told just over 18% of residents have received at least one shot and 10.3% are considered fully vaccinated.
Three more people died from the disease on Sunday, while 329 positive tests were also reported. Over 3,500 tested negative.
