UW-River Falls will be holding their 16th annual show pig sale at the end of the month at AlfaLawn Dairy by Menomonie. The dairy’s about 45 minutes from the River Falls campus. The university holds the sale so 4-H and FFA members have the opportunity to look for a prize-winning hog.
The sale will be held on March 28th starting at 2:00 p.m., but you can get there by 1:00 p.m. to scope out which pig you want before the sale starts. Every show pig is vaccinated and has a state tag. People in charge of the sale claim that customers from past sales have gone on to do very well in county shows.
