WISCONSIN RAPIDS, WI (WSAU) — Classes will resume as usual at one area high school after an evacuation on Monday.
According to an update from Lincoln High School Principal Ronald Rasmussen, nothing suspicious was found or detected inside the school after a canine sweep. The canine sweep was conducted by the State Capitol Police Department.
The release goes on to say Tuesday April 27th will be a normal day for students. There is expected to be an increase in police presence at the high school throughout the day.

Students at one area high school are going home early for a potential threat.
According to a Facebook post, Lincoln High School in Wisconsin Rapids is being evacuated as a precautionary safety member. The post says a student reported a possible “non-specific” threat to Lincoln High School administration at 1:25 p.m.
Students were then evacuated to the South Wood County Hockey Rink as a precautionary measure. Students will not be allowed to reenter the school today and all afterschool activities have been canceled.
Parents can come to pick up students at the South Wood County Hockey Rink at 3:10 p.m. Parents are advised to park in the SWC parking lot and go to the main entrance.
Students who walked to school, rode a bike, or drove a car will be dismissed from SWC Rink at 3:20.
