GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Wisconsin has now administered over 5 million COVID-19 vaccinations.
According to the Department of Health Services, 5,023,716 total doses have been administered.
People who have received at least one vaccination reached 2,711,708 Saturday, or 46.6% of all Wisconsin residents, and 2,370,785 people, or 40.7% of the state, have completed their vaccination series.
Just over 13% of kids and teens 12-15, 38,960 total people, have received at least one COVID-19 vaccine shot.
The seven-day case average Saturday decreased to 337, the lowest point since June 25, 2020 had an average of 335.
The DHS says 3,891 test results were processed Saturday.
Three new deaths are being reported Saturday as the total increased to 6,989.
Since the start of the pandemic, there have been 608,285 confirmed cases and over 2.9 million negative test results.
